Abstract:

Last years new powerfull and universal mechanisms for distributed environment were developed - OMG Common Request Broker Architecture (CORBA). We build up the Distributed Tasks Management System using ILU - public domain implementation of CORBA by Xerox. We successfully use this system for the distributed computing, data base manipulation and user interface. We will demonstrate the universality of this approach and will open hereafter the discussion of the possible ways to build up distributed information systems based on the middle-ware architectures.
